Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella

Having a sad job, an absent boyfriend and her fathers funeral to get to in the morning, Lexi Smart just wanted to get home. Hailing a taxi proved to be difficult in the rain. Slipping on the sidewalk in her cheap boots. Waking in the hospital to discover that she couldn’t remember the last three years of her life, since that rainy night before her fathers funeral. She had become, in the past three years, a completely different person. She was now reportedly ambitious, a ruthless businesswomen and she had gotten married to a very handsome man named Eric Ross. Hard enough to accept all that, but then her best friends won‘t talk to her because of what a strict boss she had become and then an associate of Eric’s informs her of more shocking news, she couldn’t decide what to believe anymore. Since her best friends weren’t talking to her, she would have to find a way to mend fences and find out what had changed her so much after the last night that she could remember.

Cute, really felt for Lexi, waking to a completely different self. Eric was self-centered, conceited and a jerk. Still don’t completely see the transformation happening so quickly, even knowing the circumstances. Not sure that I know anyone that would change that drastically in only 3 years. Absolutely loved Jon and the reason for adding a sunflower to the book cover, so nice. I am willing to read other Sophie Kinsella books after reading this one. ( )
