Movie - Happily N'Ever After (2007)

Once upon a time, the wizard (voice of Geroge Carlan) took a vacation and left Munk (Wallace Shawn) and Mambo (voice of Andy Dick) in charge of the balance between good and evil scales. Cinderella's (voice of Sarah Michelle Gellar) evil stepmother, Frieda (voice of Sigourney Weaver) found a way to take over, and decided to make all the stories turn out different. Ella thought the person that would be able to help was Prince Charming (voice of Patrick Warburton), so joined by the royal dishwasher Rick (voice of Freddie Prinze Jr.), they sets out to in search of the Prince. The power hungry Frieda puts together an unusual army of wolves, trolls and witches to stop Ella and Prince Charming from changing what she had done. Ella may yet find the power to change all that her stepmother and done and save all of the Happily Ever Afters, even if they are boring.

What a strange twist on the stories that everyone grew up with. Great for the kids (8 and up - Rated PG) that have grown up watching these traditional fairy tales, possibly a little violent for some of the younger kids. The "evil" side in mean, nasty and rude in such a funny way, even the parents will have to laugh. Music is not classic style to fairy tales so it gives it a modern feeling as does the CG style of animation.

DVD Bonus Features include an Alternate Ending, Deleted Scenes, 3 Featurettes and 5 Games. A 2007 movie that is approximately 87 minutes long.
